More than just a resource center, the HUB serves as a welcoming front door where residents can access essential programs, services, and opportunities—all within walking distance of home. Whether you're looking to build skills, find support, or strengthen community connections, the HUB is here for you.

The Neighborhood HUB Booking Guidelines
The HUB is a mission-driven space available for programs and events that benefit the community.

We Do Not Host: Private parties, showers, or personal events.
-
Booking Requests: Must align with our mission and will go through an approval process.
Requested Donation for Space Usage
As a nonprofit, we rely on community support to keep the HUB accessible. We ask for a requested donation based on the type of organization booking the space. All bookings require a donation commitment upon approval.
Neighborhood HUB Donation Tiers
We offer four pricing tiers based on who the type of organization is booking the space:

Tier 1 - Corporate Rate (For-profit businesses, private events, revenue-generating activities)

Corporate meetings, team retreats

Tier 2 - Community Nonprofit Rate (501(c)(3) organizations, community groups)

Nonprofit board meetings, workshops, volunteer training, public resource fairs

Tier 3 - Resident Leader Rate (Local residents hosting free community-focused programs)

Health & wellness classes, resident-led workshops

Tier 4 - EMMA/Beechwood Resident Rate (Neighborhood groups, block clubs)

Coalition meetings, block club gatherings, neighborhood planning sessions

HUB Bookable Spaces & Pricing
We offer four versatile spaces to meet the needs of residents, nonprofits, and businesses.
Booking Policies & Procedure
Reservation Timeline

All requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance with a signed request form & agreement.

Recurring meetings can be booked for up to 3 consecutive months at a time.

Neighborhood Groups can book up to 3 months in advance
Cancellation Policy
-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to maintain eligibility for future bookings.
Room Setup & Clean-Up

Groups are responsible for resetting tables & chairs after use.
-
Trash must be placed in receptacles; no leftover food may be left in the building.
Closing Procedures

A HUB staff member must be present to secure the building after your event.

Notify the HUB director 1 hour before event end time to ensure a smooth closing process.
Food Policy

Groups may bring food but must dispose of waste properly.
-
Kitchen facilities are not available for use at this time.
Additional Guidelines
🚫 No Drug use on the premises including smoking and vaping
🚫 No alcohol unless pre-approved by the HUB Director.
✔ Certificate of Insurance Required (for all organizations using the space).
